« Venise
au fil des mots » is a literary guide : as he follows
the maps and the words which make up this guide-book, the reader will
discover anew the many facets of Venise. In the footsteps of Alfred
de Musset, Gustave Flaubert, Marcel Proust, Aragon, Jean-Paul Sartre
and many others, Gabriella Zimmermann takes us on a unique tour in
which innermost feelings and manifold emotions paint a new Venise. A

Gabriella Zimmermann’s
book combines intellectual and visual discoveries, affording an
in-depth approach to Venise, far from the usual rounds.
Gabriella
Zimmermann
was born in Lorraine. She grew up and went to school in Antibes, but
has lived and worked in Venise for the last 20 years. She teaches
French there, as well as being a translator, and with the Librairie
Française de Venise (French bookshop of Venise) co-founded the
publishing house “Rapport d’Etape “ ( Port of Call reports).
This is her first book.
